Monday 23rd April: Tabloids Wrong as Rehab Refuse any Interest in Haggis

A top ranking spokesmen for Reddish Rehab appeared flabbergasted at talk that Rehab are interested in signing the unsettled midfielder who doesn't seem to be meshing with the current Caines lineup. Haggis, the stand in captain, has been acused of leaking their minimalist tactics via the interweb. Phil Sanchez is not a happy man.

Captain, Yacoby refutes the claim adding, "If I wanted a blonde Walter the Softy who can't finish his dinner, I'd give him a shout."

Hot shot winger bais also added, "Why would we need a player that we skin week in week out. No thanks! If I was a paraplegic I'd still 'ave him."

Amidst recent banter about the integrity of Keeper Jamie Ward, Haggis has come under fire from Rehab fans and they have demanded an F.A. inquiry. Manager Ward was happy to oblige.

Ben Edge - Its interesting that we have been linked with such a player, however it is also evident to say, we don’t need him! For me the team this season so far, have played tremendously well. We have shown character, tenacity, flair and I think it’s safe to say we are improving each week. I feel the missing Phil Sanchez has had a strong bearing on the sometimes comical performances the Hurricanes have shown. But that still doesn’t undermine the brilliant performances of the Rehab players. I personally feel positive about the way I am playing with 12 goals in three games. However the team have been absolutely superb, we look strong and I cannot see us being beaten in this form. I would also like to express how our captain Simon Yacoby has pulled us together to ensure that we dominate the Hurricanes this season. With such blistering performances there is clearly no need to sign new players. Thanks

I seriously doubt that you could afford me, unless you were prepared to smash your current pay structure.
